Propane tanks

Hi Netters

I'm removing the large propane tank from my '77 Royale. It's a 19.6 gal W.C.
about 80# of gas) and was under the dinnette seat by the door. Anybody want
it???

I want to install a smaller tank in the kitchen area but haven't found a tank
with the right specs. I need a short, fat tank with end fittings and bottom
mounts. Nothing in the Manchester catalogs seem to fit.

The original was manufacured by Brunner Engineering & Mfg Co. Does anyone know
if they still make LP tanks?? I can't find them anywhere.

Try a tank from a Lasharo. They are compact and the right size.

Never thought of that. How big in capacity and dimension is the LeSharo lpg tank,

A friend of mine has a LeSharo. I'll try to get some measurements and maybe
take some pictures of the propane tank.

Don,

The propane tank in my friend's Winnebago LeSharo is made by Manchester. It
is about 11" in diameter and 22" long.
Here are the numbers I copied off the tag:

MANCHESTER TX MFG. NO. 13440
W 60557 YR 1986
RT3 CRNF
WP 312 PSI AT 650* F
SH TH. .097 WC. 6.8
HD TH. .094 DR 2:1
???? OL 23
SA 5.3 FT3 TW 44

I hope this helps, but I have no idea what half of it means!

There's a guy in Montana who has several LeSharos he's parting out. Let me
know if you are interested in a propane tank, I can get his number for you.

Peter, I have a 77 Birchaven that I would like to lower the dinette seats on,
but am restricted by the size of my propane tank as to how low I can go. Would
appreciate the number of your friend with the Le Sharos. That sounds like very
close to the size tank I have been hunting. TIA

LeSharo parts, even used ones, are rather expensive, I don't know what a
propane tank would sell for.
