I was told that I could not replace my broken Propane Fuel Gauge
because I would have to replace the whole panel. I have a 78
Royale and the gauge is round. The company that makes the
gauge went out of business years ago. Any suggestions?

I found the posting, it was forwarded by Patrick and the post
stated that is was a transmode, and that it was an all or nothing sale
he was not selling parts. can repost if someone needs it.

Just spoke to Jim Bounds, proprietor of Cooperative Motorworks in
Orlando. I visited the below listed Web site and requested info on the
monitor panel. They forwarded my name to Jim. He tells me that he
markets the panels for CDE Corp.

He also wants to redesign the panel and put switches/gauges at the
locations where you would use them. For example, having a remote switch
for the water pump not only in the kitchen but in the bathroom. I
suggested a two way switch so that you could turn on/off from either
position.

Jim would welcome other input on your ideas for a redesigned panel and
hopes to have something to show at the GMCMI fall rally in Marion NC in
October. He is not yet online. Address, etc., is: 5971 Anno Ave,
Orlando FL 32809, 407-857-5777.

I am still trying to locate a propane fuel gauge for my 78 Royale.I am
not looking to replace the whole panel, but if I have to
I guess I will. L.J.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw gauge info at the Motorhome/Trailer life,
web site. Go to WWW.GMCMI.COM and it is listed in one of the links.
Once you get there, I think it's in the tech section with a heading
of "Propane".
There were names of parts suppliers I believe.

Good Luck
