If for some reason somebody did not dump as they should have or had
water in the tank as they should have then the C_ _ _ will stick to the
bottom of the tank and cause much problems. To break this loose you
should soak it with pine sol. Just a little. Some hot water. And Yes
you can get your arm in that hole and scrape it with a wide blade putty
knife. Recommend you drop the tank and at least check all the parts
that rust. Probably need a new gate valve. And if I would have only
know I would have sealed up the hole for the gauge. When you run out of
water you need to dump. I dump all the time or when ever I see a place
to do so. I do not usually carry all the water it will hold. at 8
pounds be gallon it just seems like a lot of extra weight. I wish I
