Price differential by Year

I would not be looking so much as the price differential as I would the
quality of constuction. In my experience there is no comparison between a
1973 and 1978 coach. The 1978 has far better quality. For one thing they
have metal surrounding the PL tank and generator.

On the other hand, here in California (and some other states) having a '73
meansn that you are smog exempt - so fuel injection etc are all permitted.

Just another view.

I haven't seen any difference in pricing between model years. From new
there were huge differences that probably had more to do with inflation
than anything else. 1973's started around $15k and 1978's old for around
$40k!

The big difference influencing price is condition and upgrades (in my
opinion)

Condition of the coach, regardless of year is the important thing. I have seen
73's that were in better condition than many newer years. I personally like the
455 engine, so that leaves off the 78' etc with 403's.
