Potential Storage Space Behind Onan in an Early Model 23'

Here are a couple of pictures of what the Onan compartment looks like from the top with the cover off. Ignore the 2X2, I added it when I was
configuring the area for a Palm Beach rear dineete. I don't know if the compartment is OEM or not. There is a plywood partition between the Onan power
drawer and the GMC body. Between that partition and the GMC body is a little bit of space that might be useful. The cavity between the Onan power
drawer and that partition is for outside air to flow from the door louvers to the Onan intake. It might not need to be that spacious. It wouldn't be
hard to remove that partition and install one closer to the power drawer to get a little more storage space.

To access the space, cut the plywood top and create an access panel. You would need to install some support at the body for that panel. If you can see
the pencil lines in this picture, the one closest to the rear would be the cut mark. If you move the partition towards the Onan, you could make the
access panel larger.
