Possible outage at gmcmotorhome.com

I hate to bother you folks with this nonsense, but just in case you have
trouble getting to my GMC website over the next week:

A dispute with the ISP that hosts gmcmotorhome.com has deteriorated into
a pi**ing match(over a penny-ante dialup account no less), so I've
decided to move the site to another ISP that I already have a
relationship with. The move should be nearly seamless with no apparent
service outage(yeah, right and I've got an ocean front condo in Las
Vegas for sale too). If you have any problems reaching the site, let me
know and I'll look into it. It wouldn't surprise me if the buggers
pulled the plug on the site early to spite me - they've really displayed
their "customer service" philosophy over the past few days.

Thanks Mike, but it's no contest. These guys don't have a clue. They
couldn't figure out that, by trying to get an extra $30 out of me, they
lost the income from the web hosting account. In addition, by moving it
to the other ISP, I save $15 a month. No matter what, after two months
I'm ahead and they've lost a customer(plus referrals - I give several a
week). They think they have me over a barrel, because they billed my
credit card. What they don't realize is that the federal "Fair Credit
Reporting Act" protects me from being charged for services not
delivered.

The internet may be high-tech, but it's still a business and these guys
don't realize that the customer is always right!

BTW, the mailing list is already on a different ISP, so it won't be
affected by this change.
