POR15 and rust

I have used it on many restorations. I swear by it not at it. Remember to
topcoat as regular POR15 is not UV proof.

Used it on the rust replacement of my 73 CdV and I know resto shops that
swear by it. I think it's a Moisture Cure Urethane as it cures by
moisture. Used 55 gallon drum or two of MCU in my Rubber Bumper repair
business many years ago. It works on metal as it's an adhesive and
"paint" too. Once cured it encapsulates the rust and keeps moisture
out. You do have to replace rusted out metal with (preferabily) metal
or even fiberglass (using PUR or their glass mat repair version) to get
structual stability, but it works. Follow their
directions/recomendations or else...! :0)
