Pleated shade installation

I received a new set of day/night shades from Guske Sales.

I have a 75 Palm Beach with 4 piece inside window trim. According to
the instructions supplied by Guske, the upper brackets are to go under
the upper trim piece. Anyone out there installed these with the 4
piece trim? I have painted the trim and removing it to install the
brace is a pain. The Guske's apparently are traveling (what a way to
make a living) so I can't ask them.

Any experience will help

When I put in my Guske shades, I used the same location of the original
blinds and they went just fine. I don't understand your question. If you
want to call me, I installed a full set in my coach.

Hi Wayne,

I'm in the process of installing the E-Z Lift Pleated Shades from Guske's.
I also have the 4 piece window trim. The installation instructions state
to "Install brackets above top of window frame. Mount brackets
approximately 3" in from corner of window frame. I just abutted the
bracket edge to the top of the trim and drilled the mounting holes. It
worked for me.

Thanks. (Read the instructions 14 times, try all of the possible
combinations 3 times and drill once) I had been reading the instructions for
the door.
