I can attest that your plan of attack should be effective. Make sure whatever you’re painting is thoroughly cleaned with wax & grease remover. Spray
a couple of light coats of the SEM rattle can adhesion promoter. I’d recommend a light coat of primer/sealer before color. It will help with color
adhesion and coverage. If you’re using single stage paint(base and clear in one) you might be able to getaway without priming ahead of time.
