One of the often overlooked items on our GMC that adversely effects
performance/gas mileage is the continued use of OEM type Ignition Wires
(Carbon impregnated string). A good set of ignition wires is necessary
for quality performance. Jacobs & Springfield (Dick Paterson) Ignition
wires are of the best available & never need replaced since they have a
spiral resistive wire for the conductor (the spiral wire eliminates radio
interference).
