The person that I bought my GMC had always used Quaker State 30WHD in
the engine. When I replaced the valve cover gaskets there was no sludge
or build up in the engine. Looked brand new inside.

I'm not really up on syn. oil, But have been using Pennzoil in all of my
cars/truck and boat and now using 30w in my lady the Pumpkin-Rose I have
heard all about Pennzoil, But I overhauled one of my cars after 80,000 hard
miles the engine was really clean. I have always changed oil/filter at
3000mi. Just info on what I use And Pennzoil was good to me, but thats just
me. No sludge found!!
