What is the value, if any, of having a parts unit available? Would it be a good idea to have an extra motor, transmission, glass etc on hand just in
case? Or will it be less hassle and about the same money to just buy these items as needed over time?

How much is reasonable for a parts unit? $600?

For $600 I'd grab it, and store other GMC stuff in it. You won't be sorry,
you'll always need some little bit!

Todd,

For 600$, think about it real hard. The donor coach in my back yard is not mine, but I still do very well by it. The only big snare is that it is a
77/8 with a 403 so there is a lot that is different than our 73-23 but it has still helped a good number of friends.

If it is close to what you have, go for it.....

It's close, and it's the same year. I'm just thinking of the increasing scarcity of the TH425 and those unique TZE only parts especially related to
the suspension. I'll probably be kicking myself if I don't snag it.

That the one on Facebook marketplace north of Albany?
If so how much is the tow?

1977 Kingsley 455 as stock as it gets except lots of Ragusa parts

Yes that was it, based on the feedback here I contacted seller and he had already given it away, needed it gone asap. For $0.

Find out who took it. He probably got it to scrap it and you could still but it from him.
