Thanks JR! I know of a couple Eldos in pick-a-part yards.

That's what I did on a 66 Toro. I also took everything from the chain
drive to the rotors. Control arms, knuckles, transmission, and drive
axles (excellent, like new, CV joints). I'm using some of the heavier
duty parts out of the Eldo trans to beef up the '66 switch pitch Toro
one I have.
It might be easier to do what I did to an Eldo, just cut the entire
front clip off, bring it home and take the parts as you need them. If
it has a 500 inch engine, they sell for as much as you will pay for the
entire clip. Street rodders are starting to have a love affair with
those. Mine was sold before I got it home.
