IMHO we owners of GMC coaches are blessed with a network of fine
reputable suppliers of anything we could want. I see many problems in a
"Parts Depot" scheme. For example the engine I want would not be the
engine someone else would want or be prepared to pay for. Warranty
service could be a nightmare. And in the busy summer months the demand
could wipe out the Depot supply.

Mondello has engines available for immediate shipment, Dunn has
transmissions, Bounds, Golby, Gateway, Sirum, Cinnabar, and a host of
others stand ready to help. I'll stick with those who have been so
faithful in their service to me.

I think we have an unofficial "Parts Depot" at this time. It is just
divided into 276 locations, or how ever many members belong to this list.
We probably have enough parts between us to build several GMC's from the
ground up. All we need to do is communicate what we need to the group and
find out where it will come from. Use it and replace it and the pipe line
will remain full. Or we could just use money and buy from the very welcome
suppliers to our tiny niche market. I have some early windows and frames,
an air bag and a new set of turn signal lights. This group has enough turn
signal lights to supply the GMC world until 2050[ HA HA]
