I am suspecting the relay for the air compressor has bit the dust. I plan on hooking up the power wire to the house wiring as some have done. Just for
some reason, it suddenly quit working. I took the power wire to the compressor and hooked it to the house power, ran fine... I am suspecting the
relay. It looks like the high speed blower relay, but not sure.

Anyone have the part numbers for the relay?

Thanks!

Shawn

Are you looking for the air pressure switch that turn the compressor on and off on an electro-level one single compressor system?

I have never worked in that area so after I made the above posting, I researched the wiring diagram for a 1977 GMC. It turns out that there is a
relay and it's purpose it to shut off the compressor when the travel switch is in the hold position. If you want a temporary work around you could
attach relay terminal position 1 and 3 together. If that fixes your problem, then you are probably correct that the relay is bad or the hold travel
switch has a problem. If you install a test jumper in the relay use a heavy gauge jumper. That is a high current circuit. GM used 12 gauge wire
when they designed it.
