I saw an earlier post that a sort of lock valve was added in the rear
brakeline.

Is that a real alternative to the cable or are there some potential
pitfalls?

He just recently accompanied me to the big car show (two miles long) #
St Ignace MI on Jun 27th

The motor, used to operate the seat back, is from a range of GM late
80's/early 90's cars. I have the table listing the years/models if
needed.

Heinz:

Bobby claims that when he was working for an electrical contractor, all
their line trucks used a hydraulic line lock and all leaked over time.
On the other hand, I know one coach owner who has installed the lock and
has had it engaged for over a month with no loss of braking ability. I
have the lock and will install it as time and priorities permit.
