What kind of paint are you folks talking about. The Imron, solid colors
or a metallic that requires a clear coat to boot. Does this include any
color or colors in the scheme. One or three as was the usual GMC paint
scheme with matching 3 color stripes in reverse and at the top. Or is
it like the Silver and Gray that was for sale previously owner by Jay
Leno. Please add some comments. Thanks Chuck Lompoc.

Chuck,
I would most certainly suggest using a base/ clear coat system a oposed to
Imron or other single stage paints. You get a much nicer shine without
shortening your life waxing the coach and the clear coat acts as a hard
coat protector to guard from chips.

You can get base/ clear in any color, solid or metalic. I use PPG brand
"DBC" base with the high solids (2001) clear.

I don't know what paint the coach Jay Leno had but it was probobly
base/clear especially if it was a metalic.

Hope this helps,
