As a newbie owner of an original 76 Palm Beach with the original green exterior, can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for a decent, low end, one color (white) paint job. Are there any realistic alternatives to paint this thing myself? Is there any easy way to remove the original stripes (that look lie they're decals, not paint.

Thanks for your help

We consulted a friend of ours who does the trim on cars and he says the best
way to remove the stripe is to use a heat gun or hair dryer. As for the
paint job, so far we have found no low end reasonable paint job for the GMC
Motorhome. They were all too much! From $2500 to $5000.

Bob I was just quoted $1800 for 2 color imron paint job in Rome NY by a
reputable shop that specializes in Semi's and large trailers.
