Jim Bounds, Mike Finnicum, and John Szalay,

I just checked out the pics on Jim's website and I have to say, ... WOW!

John, please make sure we get to see the "finished" photos, and I love
the the color you chose.

Mike, what an astonishing coach! Hope we get to see the interior too,
when complete. I presume you've got Alcoas to put on that beauty?

Jim, keep up the good work. I really appreciate your efforts to share
with us on the "Net" the fruits of your labor and experience.

If you haven't seen the photos, they're at:

Jim, that is quite the picture... so bring it to Albuq... It is real
nice...All of us are envious.

Or maybe just me.

Tim,
Thanks for the kind words, both of those coaches represent a great deal of
work and I am proud of the outcome.

Actually we have decided to restripe the upper section of Johns "blue
meany", I think the stripes can be better. I'm going to jump into the
interior though before that. I'll try to post pics of that work as well.

My computer at home that has my web site maintenance program and scanner
got wacked by lightning so Mike has been kind enough toupdate the pics for
me. Thanks man!

We have 2 more coaches coming in for paint this month, one is a 23' that
wants a wild design- can't wait! I'll put it on the site as soon as I can
get more poop in the group!

I have shifted gears a bit and have opted to slow down our pace a bit. If
you had called me lately, you probobly heard the stress of controlling the
growth of the business in my voice. I want this shop to continue to grow
and do well but not at the expense of approachability (if that is a word).
I shrunk the staff from 12 to 6 persons because I do not want to end up a
personnel manager with a secretary screening my calls. If you are looking
for work, I am most eager to accomodate but please bear with me on timing.
Every job will be signature work because my sweat will be in it, but I only
have so much sweat!

Things are doing well & I have all of you on the GMC net to thank. My CPA
said the business would never work, goes to show the power of communication!

Gotta get sweating, call me later,

Thank you but most of the credit goes to Jim and the GMCCOOP
we saw a GMC painted close to that, when we were traveling up in BC Canada
back in 91, we took pictures of it. and asked Jim to paint ours but
with some changes, the base coat is a light metallic blue, the stripes
are royal metallic blue with gold trim.
we are having a lot of interior work done as well, this is part of an
11+ year restoration project :) and we are not finished yet..
