Hello all,

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this questions but where can I find some spray touch up paint? Is there a matching 1970s Olds or GMC pickup that
uses the same color?

If not, how about a paint code that I can have them mix up a can for me.

thanks all!

Todd

Todd,

ppg code for GMC motorhome 1976
Cameo White 558 2058
Off White WE-5252 90035
White 521 2185
Beige 534 2646

Not sure which of these was used on your Eleganza

None of these are same as Chevy or GMC truck, or Luv Series from the same
year.

Get a quart of Centari mixed and a touchup spray gun. Much more control than rattle can.and custom filled rattle cans are expensive. The old Imron
when rubbed out retains most original color so match is fine.

Sticker in glove box should give paint color for your coach.

My 76 Eleganza is a light yellowish/beige. Nothing close to white. So I would assume the Beige 534 2646 is the correct color. Take those numbers to
the paint store and sort it out.

Or as John says buff out a spot and take it to an automotive paint store and let them match it. I did that with my Palm Beach which had been repainted
a non standard color and they matched it perfectly.

Beige. They should call it boring beige, but it's beige. You will also need reducer to thin and a few drops of catalyst. Probably a cheap timer cup
to get the mix right. Any good Dupont dealer should be able to help as it':s a family of products. I bought stock formula no custom mixing and match
was correct. This was years ago and still looks fine. The rule of thumb is enamel can go over anything and Centari is enamel. The original paint was
Imron which can only be used by trained professionals with certified fresh air support systems as deadly, so don't even go there.

PS don't forget you still need a respirator, but the premium 3M replaceable cartridge type should work per instructions. Ask the paint store for best
model. Around $40 last time I looked.

Most places that mix paint have this nifty color reader that they can
point at the paint and get a perfect paint match, even it the original
paint is faded
