Overhead Lights in Cockpit

Does anyone know where the ground return wiring for
the cockpit map lights goes. I have 12V but lights
work intermittently and wires are in the ceiling.

Mine was the Switch on both lamps, not the ground contacts were dirty.

Had similar problem with intermittent cockpit lights. There is a
terminal on top of the headlight switch that gives you a detent when
you turn it extreme left. This terminal is very accessible if you remove
the switch and all I had to do was bend it for better contact. No more
problem. HTH
