oven

i just replaced my countertop.i do not need the oven. i would like to put a cooktop in and the microwave under. any suggestions? also how good does the original stove work? is it worth keeping in?

Chris, I don't have an oven. I mounted the microwave wave above the stove
by cutting down the closet a bit. I removed the 3 burner stove and
installed a 2 burner.

Our lifestyle on the road precludes a lot of heaving cooking. Certainly
no baking or roasing, etc.

Now you have my undivided attention

How big in size is this unit? and will it really brown stuff as a home oven
would?

I know that folks cook with microwaves, but to me it's simply a
warmer-upper/unthawer.

My oven has been broken since day one and I make do with a B&D Toaster Oven
and the stovetop.

I miss baking the pre-done buns, etc.

Lots of carousing..leaves no time for "roasting" therefore no need for an
oven. [g]
