Its not unusual for SUV's to list low recommended tire pressures. Unlike=20
our GMC's, SUV tires tend to be large enough, and the vehicle tends to be=20
light enough, that there is not much difference in heat buildup between low=
=20
and high tire pressures. In the 70's I had a Jeep that specified only 19psi=
=20
on all four tires. I put 150K miles on only two sets of tires and never had=
=20
a tire failure.
