It might in fact have something to do with the GMC Dave! Maybe the GM
engineers knew that this expensive motorhome (and it was expensive in 1973)
would be mostly bought by middle aged fat men and post menopausal women( and
I don't mean to make this sound sexist just a statement of scientific fact).
My wife of 36 years is now in that category and I have carefully noticed how
the packrat syndrome has increased as she gets older. Could that be the
reason behind the bogie wheels, 10 ply tires, and lots of interior cabinets?
maybe even to the way that the bath module is designed? They designed it for
women not us!
last time we took the coach out on a short trip I almost had to prop poles
under the cabinets for extra support she took so much. We only went for the
day too! Come to think of it thats the day I lost 2 tires. Can we buy 12
ply tires?
