original ac roof air

when i run the roof air via shore line the compressor will run for on eminute then off for two minutes. when i run it via generator it will do the same thing then just die out, fan & all. needless to say it does not cool the coach. is this a fix or is it time to get a new one?

its possible that your unit has a low R-22 charge, IF the unit is in good
shape otherwise, have it serviced, and good luck. A good HVAC tech can tell you
if its worth repairing.

Our orginal roof unit finally died, and we went with a 13,500 new unit in the
front and added a 7,000 to the bedroom area, because of its a small cooling area
AND the 4,000 watt onan can handle both airs, if & when needed.
