Hi; Sam Pickens here picksam Problem! Gen won't gen.
Here's what happened. All's well, running fine full load (AC's running)
smooth as silk. Next; RPM went very high (163V) leveled off and ran smooth:
I shut down as quickly as I could. Ran a minute or so? Plugged into house
plug. Started the gen mtr, all ran smooth but high RPM. Re-tuned lowering
RPM. Kick back into MH and apply load - nothing. I'm getting no output from
the generator. Upon checking, there wasn't a fuse in the circut board
[again, no problems before]. Replaced fuse per book; still no juice. All
else points to pull the gen. Are there any other things I can do first. This
MH is a 1974, the title says it's an "electrondon" md'l. I've been told it's
an Elg2? The vin is "TZE064V101135" Any and all information will be
appreciated. I got it with susposed to be 'low mileage'. Regardless, I went
to electronic ignition, new alt, belts, hoses, starter, water pmp, fan, fan
clutch, upgrade radio/CD, CB, new carpet. All the interior was orig and in
good condition. Next question since orig furnishings are in good conditon
should I keep or go modern; which puts the most value to the home?
Thanks to all. I enjoy reading the mail. It seems around 120 mails show each
week and provide a lot of good information. I would like to know the exact
history on this coach if anyone has it. It had orig manuals + maintenance
book (3"thick). Seems this thing can get into your blood.
