Larry;

There is a rich-lean screw for the idle mixture. I had a similar problem and a
friend who is a local expert on the Qjet adjusted mine and also had me up the
jet size because of the cam and header. Can't tell you which screw to adjust (I
lost all mine years ago), but some one here should be able to point it out. It
may also be in the manuals.
