Another factor in the Onan's favor is the amount of technical knowledge
about it that resides in this forum. There are other fine generators
out there, but break one on the road and... With the Onan, help could
be just an email away.

Interesting point. A friend of mine with an SOB had generator problems
with an SOB generator. He had a very hard time finding a shop would work
on the Genrac -- not because it was bad but the shops did not have parts
for them. The guy who finally fixed it, told them to get an Onan, the
parts were high but very available and lots of shops will work on the Onan.

I wonder how many owner's coaches are sporting an OEM Kohler and have
they had any problem with parts & service?
