onan wont start

Another problem with the onan, The fuel pump is not getting a prime, seems
to be just spurting drops of fuel while i had only the pump cranking, tank
is full of fuel. It seems to be pumping air instead of fuel. Haven't crawled
under to check the connection but could be a rusted off fuel pickup in the
tank. Anyone ever had this problem?

Do you have plenty of fuel in the gas tank?
Check the flexable fuel line for cracks.\
