Anyone had troubles with their Onan not starting remotely but works fine
using the start on the Onan here's a tip. There is a spade type connector
located at the back of the genset compartment. Black (or dirt colored in my
case) about an inch and a half square and about 1/4 inch thick with four
wires on both sides. Mine was soooo cruded up inside that I'm surprised it
worked as long as it did. Cleaned it up, both sides many times and still no
luck. Looked close and wiggled the wires. One (red start which is #3 on the
board) pulled right out of the plug. Wound up bypassing the plug with new
connections and everything works fine and dandy now. Funny you don't realize
how convenient it is to start the Onan from inside till you have to do it
outside a few times. I would think everyone will deal with this sooner or
later...

this is up on the web page, and also be sure you take the wires off of the
voltage regulator, this will get you also when you are not looking.

Emery,
Jim Bounds mentioned it would probably be that connector when we were in
FC. I'm sure I would have found it as time progressed.
