Salutations:
When my Onan starter fried (BTW, my ace mechanic assures me Onan starter itself is some sort of Bosch derivative), an older gent showed me his and pointed out that he had no starter at all.. His used the generator end of the assembly to fire motor..
Is it possible that our 6kw powerdrawer can be set up to work the same?
He was in mid 70's Winnie Executive and I am wondering if this is some sort of owner mod or stock Onan trick.. Given the starter is hung on the back of the flywheel cover and doesn't appearently have a real starter bracket to speak of - I'm hoping the good folks at Onan Engineering left themselves some sort of out for when thier own personal starters fell off..
Still investigating elephant nipples - thx on leads there folks..
