You would be better off if you jumper board terminal 9 to 5 & you should
hear the fuel pump run. If not check the 5 amp fuse on the board &
replace if bad fuse (only use 5 amp fuse). Terminal 9 to 5 will jumper
out the Board except for the 5 amp fuse which will give some short
circuit protection while trouble shooting.
Will the Onan continue running after removal of the jumper ????? If it
continues to run, then you could have a problem as simple as "Dirty"
battery cable connections (both + & ground connections) that are
preventing the board to function properly. If it does not continue to
run when the jumper is removed, it could be a fault with the flywheel
alternator's output being loaded by a faulty Voltage Regulator. While
the Onan is running, measure the AC Voltage between terminal 8 & 11. It
should be about 30 V AC. If not , then disconnect the Voltage Regulator
& measure 8 to 11 again.
