Onan oil

What does the net use for onan oil. It calls for many options, but what
suggestions do you make for me in the hot New Mexico climate. Suggestions
welcome.

I use Mobile-1 15w50. Synthetic oil performs especially well in high temp
applications like air cooled engines. It doesn't break down nearly as
quickly at high temps.

I used 30W (Quakerstate I think) and had no oil consumption in about 20
hours of gen running in the Tx 100 deg heat.

Al,
I use quaker 30w hd oil. That is all the previous owner had used since
it was new.
