Duane, or other interested pros,
The 4Kw onan on My '73 Glacier works fine only when I bypass the control
circuit board, thus no remote control.
It's readily apparent someone has tinkered here before, by the masking
tape wire markers.
In attempt to locate the problem, referring to onan publication 6A73,
Page 11, figure 10, ""TYPICAL"" Control System Schematic", Terminal 11
appears to be +12v.

Might I be misreading the Schematic?
Is Mine something other than "TYPICAL"?
I'm having difficulty seeing the logic of the board.
Where should I start?
Thanks for any help here.

> THE OEM ONAN CONTROL BOARD REQUIRES CHASSIS GROUND TO BE APPLIED TO
> TERMINAL 11 (PERMANENT ATTACHMENT). WHAT IT SONNDS LIKE IS THAT THE
> ADDED WIRE IS BYPASSING THE CONTROL BOARD & DIRECTLY APPLING A 12 VOLTS
> TO THE STARTER SOLENOID. THEREFORE THE ADDED WIRE SOULD NOT BE ATTACHED
> TO TERMINAL 11 OF THE CONTROL BOARD. CONNECT TERMINAL 11 DIRECTLY TO
> CHASSIS GROUND FOR OEM OPERATION.
