Onan Choke Solenoid

I don't know how yours failed. When mine failed it was just the insulator
that holds the screw terminal that had deteriorated. This allowed the screw
terminal to short against the housing. I was able to use Dow RTV silicone
to insulate and stabilize the screw terminal. Its hard to believe that
stuff survives the temperatures on the exhaust manifold but its been five
years or so with no problems. Its still soft and pliable. Pretty amazing....

I don't know if this will help or not, but, maybe:

Call Barbara Hendrick 517-872-2131
c/o Walbro Corp - Carb Div
6214 Garfield, Cass City, Michigan 48726

I found her thru a item in GMC Inter magazine, some time back. I had an Onan
carb that needed rebuilding, and the local dealer said that the rebuild kits
were NLA. Barbara said send the carb and (I think) $35. I got it back and it
works fine. Maybe she can help you??????
