Onan carb, possible replacement?

Looking through a bunch of posts this morning regarding Onan carburetor fixes etc I stumbled on this carb listed on Aliexpress.

On a quick glance, physically it seems to be somewhat like the carb on my 6000w Onan, but as I don't have the measurements of mine on hand maybe someone can take a look if this would be a possibility? The video has the mount/throat size measurements at the end.

there are also a bunch of other carbs at the bottom of the page, the tecumseh snow blower one might also be a possibility?

Seems plausible. Somewhere here there's a thread where someone fitted an alternative carb onto their Onan. I think it was within the last year or two. I can't remember who--one of our regulars though.

A GMC buddy installed a Walbro LMB 180 and with minor modification it's been working very well.

"Happy with it. It does require you swapping out the throttle and choke blade rods with those from the original carb which allows all of the linkages to connect.

The picture shows the differences between the two carbs and why the rods needed to be swapped. I also removed the spring off the new carb for the choke which is not needed."

We have had a lot of trouble with aftermarket carbs for Jetskis that came from China. Mikuni knock offs.
Not sure if this applies but make sure you get a good OEM unit…

The original Onan carburetor has me stumped. I'm throwing in the towel. I think fuel is getting past the needle and seat. I've rebuilt it 2x, kits are about $20 each, so I've got about $50 in the rebuilds and $60 in a new low pressure fuel pump. Fresh rebuilt carb from the vendor is $200 plus $200 core charge, I'm not quite willing to go there $-wise.

I throw in the towel on the old carb. It's got me beat. It's in a box on a shelf just in case.

On ebay I notice there are Walbro LMB carb knockoff's for $15. No joke. $15 to my door. It arrived quickly, just a few days vs...

I am using an LMB 230 carb that's currently $31 on Amazon. It works great! I did have to make my own adapter for the air hose. And the choke is not compatible with the electric choke on the Onan, so I have to manually choke it while starting it up. I'd really like to find a way to get the automatic choke working. But other than that I'm very happy with the LMB-230
 
An amazing number of carburetors are available from China (and probably other countries, as well). Get the numbers off your carb and search with that info. Carb replacement has become my go-to for small engine starting/running problems. Rebuild attempts fail miserably, possibly due to small passages.
My genset is not original (15-20 years old at least, though) and I found a new replacement carb online.

We stock the Rebuilt origional OnanCarbs for 6k and 4k.
We also supply a fuel primer kit that avoids cranking so much to get the pump to work before fuel is delivered.

I rebuilt my original carb, and it still had flooding issues. Took it all apart again and found a hairline crack in the cast body of the carb. The crack was very easy to miss when visually inspecting it.
