Onan Breather Hose

I made mine out of sweated copper fittings, purchased from a heating and
cooling supply house. They are just the right size (3/8" I think), come in
various angles and are readily avalable. Just solder them together, then
use clamps and a couple pieces of rubber hose to attach the custom copper
piece to the manifold vent cover and the air intake nipple. Works good.
Costs a lot less than $220....

Found out how to make a fortune to spend on a "new" GMC. Gonna borrow a
friend's tow truck and follow you where ever you go.
Talk about opportunity. Reckon I can stuff in a NAPA dealer in the
co-pilot's seat?

Given the small size of the assembly and the fact that it is mounted with
rubber, I suspect that it will last longer than the rest of the generator.
Although thats not saying much given the age of my Onan....

But the rest of the plumbing on my GMC is made up using the same sweated
copper fittings (strange but true) and after 26 years, none have ever
leaked. Its a pretty good way to connect copper. If its done right the
copper will fatigue and crack long before the sweated joints will.
