Jim Bounds sells one - I don't remember who manufactures it though.

Are all of you prepared for the fiberglass work you'll have to do to your
compartment door in order to mount the deflector??

The generator cooling air outlet does not line up with the original notched
area along the bottom of the door. They are about two inches offset from
each other.

If someone could send me a good drawing, with measurements, or pictures
of the air outlet I am sure I could manufacture a deflector which would
not need any modifying of the door. Darren

The unit that Jim Bounds installed for me required a very small amount of
the door to be cut away. No big deal.

i made a vent that followed the contour of the access door and vent's air
toward frame...no fiberglass work..

Another source is Ron tase and you can catch him at tasegmc31, I
seem to recall Alex Sirum sells them as well.

Yep that is the problem I have with the existing models. I really do not

installation! The cut out is hardly noticeable, perhaps because of the
curve inward at the bottom of the door.

Hi Daren
I am still interested but I am not sure I could give good enough dimensions
to make the deflector. I would have to try it on several times while
making sure the door would shut , slot would fit, etc, etc.
I think you could build one in a min. if you had the coach to work from. I
also wonder what about the 4K generators. Must be different.

I had a local guy say he was going to make two so will see if he makes one
and how it fits.

There was a local GMC guy asking about screen doors again. Are you still
thinking about these ? Guess I will go look on your page };>)

You guys are making this too complicated. Just cut a piece of sheetmetal
and form it into a 90 degree circle and fasten it behind the vent so it
directs the air outward. It works great and doesn't require any cutting of
anything. Some things require big bucks. This doesn't.
