Having shiny new Alcoas on our coach raises the
usual question of disposal of the old wheels, hub caps
and lug nuts.
I have looked over the seven wheels several times and
find some 2 and 3 character codes but absolutely
nothing that suggests they are rated "Radial" I can
find no obvious cracks despite their having been
used with radials for many years (two tires had no
date codes at all). The bolt circles seems to be free
of cracks or elongated holes. These thing are of no
value to us other than for boat anchors in the event
we acquire a larger boat. They're free to GMCNetters
for the freight charges.
There are also six chrome hub caps, dimpled a bit
but not bent up badly at all. Same deal, any interest?
