33,000 lb. GVW, 7.2L Cat turbo-diesel, Allison tranny, and Front wheel
drive! This chassis could solve all of our problems! All you'd have to
do is jack up the GMC body, discard frame and drivetrain, and slap it on
this puppy. No more wimpy Suzuki toads, tow a Hummer! You could just let
that big Cat diesel idle all night in the campground and toss out your
pesky Onan and Statpower 40.

I think the Nehoda Supply Company should look into purchasing a bunch of
these Super Cruiser chassis for all of us.

The only drawback is that Ford Motor Company doesn't realize that they
make a Front Wheel Drive F-750.

Does this mean that Larry Hagman doesn't really strap his Harley to the
Boatorhome swim platform?

...which brings up a subject that has intrigued me for some time.
Has anyone else thought about swapping out the 455 -- after it expires, of
course -- for a diesel (tansverse mounted or otherwise). HP for HP, diesels
are generally smaller than gasoline units so space shouldn't be a problem.
I have no idea about cost vs. major rebuild or new gas unit. Noise levels,
OTOH MAY be a prob...
