A friend of mine that has a Ford F150 installed an Oil Separator in his PVC line.  It keeps any mists/fluids from returning to the carburetor or EFI intake.Would there be any benefit to having one on our GMC's?RaySent from my U.S.Cellular© Smartphone

Ray,

Those only make any sense in a case of serve blow-by and actually, if you have the TZE valve gear covers, the feature is built in to them.

This is just one of the reasons that people have trouble with some rebuild shop engines.

We have one in the left valve cover.
GM 557240 breather filter. There is a big difference between the real GM ones and the Cheapies as the GM is full of media and fakes have only a thin
fiber sheet.
