I noticed it a few times on our trip and again yesterday running to the store soo I figured I'll ask!

My oil pressure usually holds steady a little above the 1/2 way mark on the OEM gauge. A few times (as mentioned above) it goes up to about the 3/4
mark or a little below. Usually it's a big higher when cold and then drops down once it heats up, but yesterday it didn't drop back down.

Haven't checked it again.

Any ideas?
Sending unit is still stock and could use replacement I'm sure, but it seems an odd failure to read high?

I would start by pulling the connector on the sender and cleaning the connection with contact cleaner. They oxidize as not a sealed connector and give
eratic readings.

Justin,

I would suggest you get an oil pressure gage (no sender type) and "T" it in under the OEM fitting to calibrate the OEM gage.

My 23' was on its 4th sender when I soldnit. The OEM lasted 38 years, the Chinese ones go maybe a year... but lifetime warranty.
