Oil Filters - now Air Filters

Speaking of K&N, how about their air filters? I use them in all my vehicles
(even in the old 300CD), and I ordered one for the GMC. Any good or bad
experiences with the K&N in the GMCs?

Peter,
I have used K&N for many years (back when heard them mostly for dirt
bikes) on all my H-D's. They are pricy but you only have to buy one. I would
love to get some sort of ram air setup because I flat HATE the hi rise
manifold on my Caspro engine and the dog house that it needs to breathe. On
my old TBI setup (BC -before Caspro) they had a neat low profile ram air
setup. Wish I wouldn't have sold it at Forest City last year. I'll bet the
dog house could be reduced to frying pan size with that setup.
Anyways, K&N's are great and I plan on ordering one for my (Inferno Red
Pearl) PT Cruiser before it arrives. That and a Borla exhaust (neither of
which I found out voids the factory warrenty, which is great) and I should
be about set.

Thanks for your reply. Have you looked at the K&N Generation II intake kit?
I don't know if it would work on the GMC, but it sounds like you had
something similar on your TBI.

Have fun with the PT Cruiser, I've seen a few on the road and love them.
They turn heads even up here in the Aspen area with all the exotic and
expensive cars.
