The only GM publication I know of is in the 1973 Owner’s Manual X7321A and X7321C (I don’t have X7321B but it must be the same as the A and C are the same.
It shows
“ The maximum loaded trailer weight which
the Motor Home can pull is 2000 pounds. GMC DOES NOT RECOMMEND TOWING ANY
TRAILER UNLESS THE MOTOR HOME IS
PROPERLY EQUIPPED."
It goes on to say
" Trailer brakes are required on trailers
over 1,000 lbs . loaded weight."
This probably doesn’t help you as many GMCers pull toads that weigh far more than 2000 pounds.
Bob Dunahugh has reported towing his trailer which is load at over 10,000 pounds.
But I don’t think that there is any published information except the above.
