That vent was made by the Hammond Vent Company which has been out of business for many years and not instlled on new RVs since then. There were a few
aftermarket companies making theen but the market for them was low and the prices went up. Onu company made very strong fiber glass ones. All are
difficult to find. I found a few tic and fiberglass ones plastic the surplus houses around Elkhart.
On the last three I needed for a 1978 GMC I ended up fiberglassing the original ones and reusing them. They were in very bad shape when I started and
had cracks from the center to the edges that were spread to 1" wide at the edges. It was simply a monetary decision to repair vs. replace. Also
because they are on top where no one see them, I decided the repaired one did not have to look perfect because no one ever sees them.
If you want to replace them I suggest you start by looking at Jim K's Applied GMC. He stocks a lot of hard to find stuff. If you do not find them on
his web site then call and ask.

things globally improve. SO i may just try to "repair" what is there as i'm not restoring this coach to OEM but rebuilding it to make sure its all
usable 8)

Should you update the vent/fan, I highly suggest the Max Fan as it has two
arms that control the vent. Fantastic has only one arm and the lid tends to
fatigue and break. Also they suggest not to travel with the lid open.
I know I travel with my vents wide open at times, I have Max Fan.

With what you are going to pay for a Hammond lid replacement, you either need to temporary repair, find a good used one (good luck), or bite the
bullet and buy a new more modern one that you want. Start by looking looking at Jim K's site. I have no idea what they cost today. The Hammond
lid was around $90 a few years back. I did not look for a more recent price.
