Rick: if you had seen the OEM jack, you woud'nt want one. Big, bad, ugly,
heavy and hard to store. Harder to use.

OK, guys, you know there has to be an odd ball in the crowd. I have used my
oem jack several times and don't mind using it. Since I don't have any
fence post to pull, using it on my GMC is the only time it get's exercised.
A word to the wise, I do jack it "Slowly".

Yep-- this is about the only thing guaranteed to single handedly get a
GMC up from flat / down /in the mud / lower than a snake's belly / broken
condition. I carry mine in the infamous POD.

Just to show you how good it works, I have never used it. Almost as good
as having a copy of Dave's plastic with you.

would not be without it.

Gene,
I also keep my never used OEM jack with me at all times. Mine is stored under a
dinette seat. I figure that if I have it I won't get into trouble. However, I
should probably figure out how to use it.

PS: Plus I might need to pull out some fence posts sometime while on the road.
