Is it possible to get a drop or two of oil in the OEM Coleman Mark IV fan shaft bearings without climbing on the roof and/or dismantling a lot of
stuff?
Last time I ran it, the compressor came on but the fan just hummed. So I turned it off. Took down the interior plastic faceplate/duct assembly and
turned it on again, reached up and gave the fan a little push, and all was well.
I can see that happening again every time it sits for more than a day or week or month or winter or...
All it needs is a drop or two of oil to get ? more seasons of use out of it. In the Alabama August heat/sun it keeps the interior plenty cool, and the
compressor cycles because it is not really having to work that hard to do it.
