Odd Battery Tray 1977

1977 Kingsley. I seem to have a add-on battery try next to my stock one. No battery in it and no evidence of wiring for it.
Is this how the Transmodes were set up?
Not sure what the purpose would be other than to add an additional chassis battery for longer use of headlights/parking lights and stereo.

I have 2 on the right side engine compartment...one is for motor, the other for house....they both hook up to the combination solenoid as well.

That is how the early coaches were set up, but with the 75MY, the house bank was moved to the rear and the generator battery was eliminated. My 73s battery trays are nothing like that. After forty-odd year of PO mods, no bets.

Thanks for sharing that, Bill. That looks nice and tidy; I like the extra storage for fluids as well. I might have to copy this, as I just have a gaping open area there now.

Oh, there is a world full of interesting stuff for GMC there, it is a bit difficult to locate sometimes because there was no naming convention used.
