Hi All,
Was at a garage sale today, the person has a well used Nutone with blender
and ice crusher. She wanted $20. I have her phone number if anyone is
interested.Long Island location.
A comment about used Motorhomes, make sure you check mileage , and generator
hour meters very carefully. Dishonest individuals have been known to turn
back hourmeters and and not add extra once or twice around miles to the
totals, I was almost burned a couple of times while looking at GMCs. Check
for original CV joint bands, ball joint rivets, shock absorbers, steering
shock, generator condition and evidence of the hour meters removal. None is
conclusive but adds up. True low mileage GMCs usually have some indicaters.
I guess thats where Dave's Registry will help.

All of the above are the good things to look for, for sure. While I don't
track milage for the reason mentioned above...........how could I
possibly validate such an item?

The point I would like to make here is that hi milage, in my opinion, is
not a bad thing..........as long as you are told up front. My coach had
nearly 500,000 miles on it when I bought it with nearly 200k on the
Mondello rebuild. I would be more worried about a true 20,000 mile coach
because I would know up front that I will be replacing just about
everything that can go bad due to inactivity.

The worst thing we can do to the old gals is to let them sit!

BTW, my Onan has over 8,000 hours on it and is really tired but (thanks
to Jim Bounds) is still putting out 60 Hz AC.

Excuse my editing (for brevity) Mark........
