Most likely cause -- Exhaust value not seating (stuck
or burned).If the engine runs fairly well
no backfiring thru the carb
no oil blowing out the breather/pvc/oil fill
remove valve cover - turn over engine until both #5
cyc valves are closed
blow air into the #5 spark plug hole --
Have somebady listen at tailpipe -- You will hear it
if it is an exhaust value problem
If you hear it at the carb = intake valve (unlikely)
if you hear it from the oil fill tube = Hole in piston
unlikely
